not valid windows image

Good morning,
I keep getting this popup message the application or DLL C\winnt\system32\avicap.dll not valid windows image,can I just go find it and delete it,to keep it from popping up??? TIA...GaryD

Have you AviCap installed?

"The avicap.dll is used by your computer when capturing video from cameras (e.g. webcams) to store the resulting video as AVI format."
