Windows 2000
I bought a used laptop that has Windows 2000 on it, I prefer Windows XP but I cannot find 2000 so that I can uninstall it & install XP. Any suggestions?

You don't need the 2000 disk to uninstall it. Just boot your computer from your XP install disk. It installs exactly the same way as 2000. I would suggest a clean install. Remove the existing partition during the install and recreate a new one. Then format NTFS.

Make sure its got enough CPU and RAM to run XP sufficently. I would say at least a 1.2Ghz processor and 256 MB RAM minimum.
