Help!!! Failed upgrade from 98 to 2000
I tried to upgrade my computer with a ripped version of Win2000 but when my computer gets to the final stage of upgrading my program and system settings it gets stuck, restarts and does it again.
My options (when it restarts) are either to watch my computer fail miserable or MSDOS. The screen looks like this: You are using automatically generated configuration files. Your original configuration files have been renamed Config.upg and Autoexec.upg and are located in the C:\MSDOS7 directory. C:> What do I do? Can I get my computer back to the way it was? What commands do I put into DOS that will make it revert back to Win98? |
