Hi All !
I've been experiencing problems with one my processes called svchost.exe. When I check the task manager box svchost.exe appears to be using about 140.000kb and as a result my system is running extremely slowly...... Any experts out there know how to rid my pc of this problem. p-dogg |

p-dogg, whats up !!!
svchost is a service host...meaning its hosting services such as audio , dhcp lanmanager, etc....Depending on how many services it has to run, it might be overloading and slowing down your PC... If this is a win2k machine, from CD-ROM you can do tlist.exe...It will show you details of what svchost is running...or "hosting"... HTH |
