A slight inconvience...

For the past couple of days I've been trying out various firewall software looking for a specific feature and today I found that when I went to print something off of a web page the system wouldnt respond.
I copy and pasted to word and it would print from there so I know it's not the printer or driver.

while looking through network places I noticed that in the "computers near me" folder my own computer was listed.

I'm not sure if it's supposed to be there or not or if thats whats causing the printer conflict but I would appreciate it if someone could check and see if they have the same thing.

thanks

I don't know what's going on with the printer, but your computer listed is normal, assuming you have file and print sharing enabled on it.

Rebooting is always called for when odd things happen in any version of Windows. :D
