1. I removed Checkpoint Firewall-1 because it was malfunctioning. I used Microsoft Add/Remove Software facility. This was originally m4n70s.exe.
2. I now get an error message displayed at startup of W2000 Pro. -mn470s.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows. 3. Dr. Watson identifies m4n70s.exe as the aborting program. 4. System Information via the Management Console: -Running Tasks m4n70s.exe C:\WINNT\System32\m4n70s.exe -Loaded Modules m4n70s.exe is in the list. -Startup Programs m4n70s.exe is called 3 times by: 1. .DEFAULT 2. Administ- 3. All Users 5. When I check the System there are 3 Groups: Startup All Users:Startup Startup Default User:Startup Startup Administ-HXMSWL\Administrator:Startup 7. I am trying to find a way of getting into the Startup Files for these 3 User Groups to remove the entry that calls m4n70s.exe. |
