Strange Requests for Server Privileges
What accounts for the following development?
Ever since my last update of Win2k Pro on July 10, 2005, Zone Alarm Pro reports that several programs are requesting access to the Internet -- for example, Services.exe, MSTask.exe, and Services and Controller App. NOTES: 1. It's doubtful that I have a Trojan for I have scanned my computer with two separate programs: TDS-3 and Spy Audit. 2. For similar reasons, the presence of a virus is equally doubtful. 3. Zone Alarm Pro (Version 5.5.094.000) has been installed and running for several months; the last modifications were done about a month ago. NormanS |
