Angry Sound Problems?

I have recently reformatted my win 2k and since then I have been having problems with playing music. My problem is that when I play music (it does not matter if it is through windows media player or kazaa) it skips. I even put a cd in my E: drive and it still done the same thing. Has anyone ever had this problem. I am guessing that it has something to do with my sound card.:bandit:

Sound Blaster Live!

I have never had this problem before. Do you think it could be the drivers that i have recently installed after formatting.
