I need help with Direct draw.
Alright, I started having a problem when I installed a game. The screen is all wavy and fuzzy when Im at menus. Once I "start" a game it goes back to normal. Sometimes its a blank screen. When that happens I alt + tab out of their and it says something about a problem with direct draw (I didnt think much of it, so didnt note exactly...and of course now I cant get it to say that). I'd hit ok and all was fine. Thats fine, I can live with that, but another game of mine is starting to act up, so I did a dxdiag and it says a file in GDI32.dll is missing or cannot be read. I downloaded the file but I cannot replace it because windows is using it while my computer is on. Is there any way I can remedy this situation?

I guess it would help if I typed right and since I dont see an edit button, it says "Exception during DrawSurface" not during direct draw - although the problem still is with direct draw and that dll file.
