3cmlink.exe

I have this problem with "3cmlink.exe", it's some sort of modem driver and certain programs won't run simultaneously when 3cmlink.exe is running, but when i end the process my modem stops working. Also whenever I restart/shutdown it tells me that 3cmlink.exe has stopped responding. Anyone know what I should do?

Try upgrading the driver you are using from the manuf. site, not the Windows Update site unless you cant find one on 3coms. But chances are the windows update site will be of no use and 3coms site is pretty good, you just have to look around.

I think I found an answer here. It offers an explanation as well as a fix- neither of which I could provide from experience!!

I followed the link given by JAMMAN and I'v got to agree that where you want to look, but just to be nice you could try my advice first. :)
