Oh My Dear God!
i had to do it, i had to install win2000 pro on my machine and i was very dissapointed on the results i got.
first off, my modem didnt come with a driver for 2000 :( i went back to 98se and i downloaded one :) that taken care of, i installed 2000 again. my volume control suddenly makes almost no difference, it is either all the way up, or all the way down :( My burner is acting very funny, i cannot see half of what is on the discs i have made. :( i am having freeze issues when i try to do anything "odd" :( i am unable to use my saitek p750 gamepad :( when i try to shut it down it restarts :( needless to say im going back to 98se. :) this is actually worse than my XP experience. :O ~BoB~ i actually wrote that days ago, but couldnt view the site to post it. so i am posting it now. ~BoB~

well,
i sorta tried it that way also, and no difference.
i told it to leave the partition intact the first time... but the second time i told it to repartition it using an ntfs standard.... neither one worked ~BoB~
