Reassigning drive letters
Long story short - I just formatted and reinstalled Win2k on what was my E: partition. I have C: as Win98, D: as primary storage, E: as Win2k and F: as WinXP. Once I finished installing Win2k, my drive letters were different. I used Partition Magic to change them but something went wrong and I lost Win2k and WinXP so I had to reinstall again.
Question: What's the safest and best way to change the drive letters like I want in Win2k? They are fine in WinXP (my main OS), but I'd like them to be the same. If you aren't thoroughly confused by now, congrats. |
