Sound problem in win2k pro

Hi sup,

Installed windows 2000 pro. Works fine except the sound card.

I have a Biostar M7ncd with an AMD semptron 2500+
I got all the drivers installed but my sound wouldnt work. So i checked int he Assessories and the volume control wouldnt work. This is the error it gives me in a popupbox:

I tried reinstalling drivers but no difference any clues ?
Ill redownload the drivers from their website, uninstall the old ones and then try again.

Any help/coment appriciated

reinstalled the nf2 chipset driver again but still no sucsess, now downloading the realtek driver and i will see what will happen.

Still no solution reinstalled the realtek drivers but still wont work, i will propably have to format and reinstall windows. Before i do that ill try to unplug eveyrthing and clear the cmos and see what it does.

ok fixed found some hardware error and reinstalled the drivers and win2k found the mixer now formated and installing winxp
