OS: windows 2000

error messages in microsoft outlook

I get this message when I try to use microsoft outlook:
Outlook exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows. You will have to restart your program.
I have restarted again and again. I have uninstalled and reinstalled 2 times. I have windows 2000. I have used this program for years with no problems.

when I open the program the message is already there and I cannot read or send any thing. The instant I click on any thing it goes back to the desktop.

Help ! Help!
Thankds

Just some guesses:

Have you peformed MS Office updates?
Have you updated W2k?
Have you scrubbed your registry?

Try this link:

http://www.worldstart.com/weekly-dow...cleaner4.3.htm

Download and install the RegCleaner utility. Open it and go to Tools, Registry Clean Up, Do Them All. Let is scan the computer, do not be surprised if you have 100 or more items on the first pass. Once scan is complete, Select All, Remove, Done, Exit. I have used this for close to 2 years on dozens of machines, no problems. I run it every few weeks as well.

Hope this is useful info.
