Reformatting Hard Drive of 2000 System

How do your reformat the hard drive on a system running 2000? You can't simply boot to a DOS prompt from a 98 startup disk and and format.

Why not? Put Fdisk and Format on your boot disk and you're good to go. Fdisk it first.

Send a message via ICQ to Stanza
You can just boot from your Windows 2000 cd and then choose Format hard drive from the list of options during the setup stage of Windows 2000.

Sure you can! You need to FDISK first and kill off the NTFS partition.
