upgrade from 95 to 2000 - Access error?

Our company is in the process of upgrading to Windows 2000. I have several 97 version Access Databases that are struggling with the changes. This is the error message I am getting:

DDE Server Window:msaccess, exe - Application Error

THe instruction at "0x0401f9f3" referenced memory at "0x00081fed". THe memory could not be written.

What could be the problem?

Thanks,
Deborah

to upgrade to 2000 you need these min.system requirements:

Pent.133(Pent.200-300recomended)

32MB RAM(64MB recommended)

Hard-drive space 2gigw/650MB free
(recommended Hard-drive space 2gigw/2gig free)

If you don't have all these requirements, I don't think you can install 2000. It looks like a problem with your memory, could be a bad stick or slot, or just not enough.
