Where is ScanReg Restore in Win 2K

I just upgraded from Win98 to Win2k. I tried to get to a C prompt on boot by tapping F8 but the list of course is not the same. In Win 2K can you somehow still use ScanReg Restore to go back to a previous registry?

W2K has a "Safe Mode" you can enter by hitting F8, but not MS-DOS. Since W2K is frequently installed using the NTFS filesystem, MS-DOS would be non-functional anyway.

You can go back to the last known good configuration during boot, perhaps that's what you're looking for?

Last known good is gone after you login though. What are you trying to get at...to do?
