pls help! Deleted user profile,can I get docs back??

Deleted a supposed corrupt profile on Win 2K pro as advised by a microsoft K/base article - it didn't tell me I would lose all the docs & favourites!! Help me please, My husband is ready to divorce me, I'm ready to slit me wrists & my teenage stepdaughter my do that forme if I've lost any of her exam coursework that isn't on her Mum's PC.

You need a tool like Uneraser to attempt recovery. It's hard to know how much you can recover, since activity since the deletion will start to overwrite the deleted files.
