Hi everyone, I FDSIKed my freinds computer last night and re-installed Win2K Prof. Operating system. After i doing this everything loaded fine but the display settings seemed off. I went to the desktop settings and went to his settings tab to adjust the colors to "High 16 bit" or "256" only to find that neither were there only 16 colors was available. I opened up his case and there was no video card. Turns out the monitor is plugged into the motherbaords onboard video output. Is there a way for him to get the better color settings without having to buy a video card? Thanks.

find out the maker of the motherboard and the model. Go to their web site and download the latest drivers for the board.
or find the drivers at driverguide.com
