ICS Problem help please...

I have two laptops both with fresh installs of Windows 2000 Pro.

The Main laptop has wireless card and connects to the internet perfectly.

It is connected to the other (Client) with a xover patch cable.

Both computers are using DHCP enabled in all NIC's and share files ok.

I have enabled "share" on the wireless LAN but am unable to access the
internet from the Client.

I have followed the procedures in this link to the tee and still having problems.
http://www.practicallynetworked.com/...tall_bband.htm

Does anyone know of anyone that I could email or phone to get some one
on one assistance with this. I'm sure its just something simple but beyond me.

Below are links to gifs of the "ipconfig" info taken from both laptops.

Client laptop patched to main.

Once this is set up I will be accessing the internet through a modem when
I'm on the road in motels when broardband is not available. Am only using
this set up for set up purposes.

Thanks to anyone that can assist.

David...

I noticed this was several days old. did you ever get this working? you need to make the dns address for the client laptop the address of the laptop with the wireless card.

My System

ok, i mentioned something a second ago that it seems you already figured out.

sorry about that. (if you read it before i deleted it, disregard it)

i did want to ask, now that i'm sure what has and hasn't been done, are you using any firewalls?

if you are, there is some specific details that are slightly different.

let us know.
