window 2000 sp4

after installing sp 4, the laptop started to crash and reboot again,then crash again. i checked the event viewer and there was a "rasctrs error" and "perfdisk error" as well. i did a search on the internet and microsoft says i should restart the laptop and everything would work fine BUT unfortunately that did not work at all.
i rebooted the laptop in safe mode and everything seems to work fine, until i start to download anything from the internet ! !

does anyone have an idea of how i can sort this out ?

finally found a solution, un-installing sp4 was the best option ! ! ! !

hope this will help yourll out in the future ! ! ! !
