Is Windows Media Player 10 compatible with Windows 2000? If not is the 9 series the latest version for Windows 2000? Thanks!

As far as I know there is no supported wmp 10 for 2k, but I also remember seeing wmp 8 on several web sites a while back someone fixed up that installed on win 2k. WMP 10 has less problems and more features then wmp9 , a few minor bugs that are easy to weed out. It would be worth a bit of searching to see if someone has a copy that installs on 2k and the 9x systems. Game sites usually have that sort of thing, or know where it can be found.
