Cannot log in on my computer
I have an Compaq Evo N150 with Windows 2000 Professional SP4. I did something really stupid. I have changed some user id or member id in the network settings. I canīt explain it as well as i want to. What happens now is, when I start the computer it wants me to log on to windows and the user name says ASPNET. I have never had a password or anything on this computer. So now I canīt access my computer and I donīt know if thereīs a way to do it. Please, can anyone help?

Re: Cannot log in on my computer
Delete ASPNET from the User Name box and type your user name. If your account doesn't have a password, leave that box blank.
If you don't remember your User Name, you can try Administrator; it may have a blank password. If the Administrator account has a password, and you can't remember your User Name, the forum rules won't let us help you get around that. Once in, goto Start | Settings | Control Panel | Users and Passwords If unchecked, check the box for Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer and click apply. Uncheck the box for Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer and click apply. Enter the user name and password for the account you want to automatically log on. If that account has no password, leave the password boxes blank.
