I'm missing a lot of files on my computer apparently. My entire Windows folder is gone. My Autoexec file is not linked apparently and a lot of my files are not linked including some .dll files. Is there anyway to fix this. Without my autoexec file (i think) nothing will set up or download. Including my windows xp cd that i have tried installing. I have windows 2000 sp4 and I do not have the disk anymore (it got broken by my little brother). Can anyone help?

Re: I dont know which Forum to go to but Im having a lot of different problems
Normally, Windows 2000 doesn't have a Windows folder unless it was an upgrade from a Win9x version. The folder would be named WinNT. Do you have a WinNT folder?
Win2K also doesn't use the autoexec.bat file. A more complete description of the problem(s) including the complete text of any error messages would help
