Lotus Notes 6.5 issue
I'm having an issue that I can't seem to find any resolution to and I'm in dire need of help.
My company is running Lotus notes 6.5 and we have no issues when we receive email, but sometimes when we send email to outside sources, the address that it comes from somehow gets translated as something weird. Our normal addressing convention is FILastName@Ourcompany.com. However sometimes when recipients receive an email and the click on respond the email address that they end up trying to email back to is something like %FILastName%OURCOMPANY@ourcompany.com. Is this something that I can resolve on my end or is it an issue on the recipients end? |

Re: Lotus Notes 6.5 issue
It could be that the recipient's mail host does not support or cannot correctly use the Lotus mail file types. If the recipients had Lotus Notes 6.5 like your company, or if your company switched to Thunderbird, Outlook or something more common, you may see a difference.
