Can't delete files?

For some reason, I can't delete a file, rename it, or move it at all.

Here's the error message I get:

Cannot delete C__For~1.PDF: Cannot find the specified file.
Make sure you specify the correct path and filename.

But the file is right there...?... Albeit, the C__For~1.PDF is it's insanely short name...

The real name is something like C++ for Computer Science and Engineering 4e - Solutions Manual, blah blah blah.pdf

Any help?

Just one file or many, or ALL?
