Destroyed my Registry
Okay, I went to some video on Youtube that told me how to hack my ping, by manually changing settings in regedit. It told me to create two different files somewhere and change the Hex = 1. I misunderstood this part of the instructions, and changed every setting in that folder to Hex = 1. I think I may have also added a new key and deleted it, if that makes a difference, but now my internet isn't working. I'm currently on my brother's computer, trying to figure out what I should do to fix it.
The Youtube video is here: YouTube - How to Hack your MMO Ping And somewhere in those files, I changed all the Hex = 1, and also created a new Key named Key#1 and then I deleted it. I had no idea what I was doing, and I really would appreciate some help on how to restore my regedit back to normal. Last edited by DrEpic; 04-19-2009 at 06:20 AM. |

Re: Destroyed my Registry
I take it that you didn't make a backup before you did this.
