Re: dell optiplex says NTLDR missing

Normally this is due to a corrupted installation of the operating system or a change in the location of the system drive. Have you changed any hardware lately?

Re: dell optiplex says NTLDR missing

NTLDR simply means that the bios cant see the boot sector of the harddrive.
Could be a corrupt boot or a dead harddrive.(or loose/faulty IDE cable)
If you have a boot disk or the O/S disk to boot from and see if it can see the harddrive?
If so you may be able to run repair but quicker to change the harddrive and/or reload system.
