can't seem to get connected to the net
I am running a straight line from the router. I am using windows 2000 Professional. The computer doesn't even show a picture except "MAKE NEW CONNECTION" when I right click properties in "My network places" and go into it. I try from there, follow what is says, and page doesn't display!! There is a light on in the back of the pci card like I am connected! Things I did:
Change my ethernet cord reset router put new pci ethernet card in with correct drivers I am trying to connect wrong? |
