can't log in as administrator, lost/forgot password/ am i in trouble/is there hope?

we lost/forgot administrator password and can't install any programs or hardware or basically do anything in the user profile. is there any hope for this problem?

well you could try the ultimate boot cd, there is a utility in there for people who have forgotten passwords. (to moderators and admins, i am not promoting hacking in any way! just helping out someone! please do not misuse that utility!)
