Hey guys,
I have been searching online, forums, and in microsoft windows books for weeks. But I just can't find which Memory Allocation Scheme does Windows 2000 use. I found some good info in Microsoft Windows Internals - WinNT, 2000, 2003 Server. But its all about Virtual Memory management. Therefore, could someone please help me with finding the Windows 2000 Physical Memory Allocation scheme. So I know what I am looking for and start my research on that scheme. Thanks for your time. Re: Windows 2000 Memory Allocation Scheme
Memory Allocation Scheme? Are we talking RAM - if so, what does it matter! If we're not talking RAM, then we are talking about "physical" memory allocation in which case, it is about virtual memory management.

Re: Windows 2000 Memory Allocation Scheme
It was about the RAM allocation scheme in Windows 2000. Doesn't matter anymore. I needed it for a class presentation which I was taking last semester. I found the info I was looking for somewhere but I don't remember where right now.
Thanks anyways. |
