Creating ERD
Is it possible to create an Emmergency recovery disc on a cd? There only seems to be an option for floppy?
Thanks Andy |

Re: Creating ERD
A few google searches suggest ERD commander by sysinternals could do that. I also found since sysinternals got acquired by Microsoft, Microsoft made it free or something. This is the link I found
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...4-c34b2860e087 Can't vouch for it because I have no idea what's in there. Try and see. I'm not sure what the 30-day limit involves though... like can you recover anything after 30 days? Some limited documentation here http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/l.../bb608290.aspx |

Re: Creating ERD
Thanks for that. I had spent ages googling with little joy. In fact when I followed your link through and downloaded etc. it all got very complicated. Too complicated for my average knowledge soI have made the disc on a floppy anyway. I have a friend who has no floppy drive which is why I asked the question perhaps I'll just give her a copy. I'll keep looking to see if there is a simple answer and post if I find anything.
