Smile W2k - Automatic Window Logon

Happy Holidays; In the process of cleaning up my puter, I somehow managed to disengage the automatic sign in for windows. Now the darn screen pops up and asks for the user password, which I do know and would like it to be automatic instead of having to put it in each time. Can you help?

Go to Control Panel, and open the "Users and Passwords" applet. Clear the box next to "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer check box." You may also have to click the Advanced tab, and clear the box next to "Require users to press Ctrl-Alt-Del before logging on."

Smile

Had to go where you told me but had to do some juggling to get it to work. Had to check the properties first, then do some checking and unchecking. Thanks, , I will do another post for win 98 with the same problem but don't know where the answer for that maybe.
