When I click on Add/Remove Programs in control panel I get the following message:
An unexpected error occurred. Object doesn't support this property or method. res://sp3res.dll/default.hta Line: 21 Anyone know how to correct this? |

First thing I'd try is the System File Checker.
With your Win2K CD in the drive, go to Start/Run and type in: sfc /scannow The program will analyze your system files and replace what's damaged/corrupted form the CD.

Thanks! I tried that, but, it still won't list the currently installed programs and I still get the same error message. The error message comes up when I click on add/remove programs from the control panel.

From the Run command line, you can use:
rundll32.exe shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL appwiz.cpl to get into the dialog. I assume you have run a full virus scan, just to be sure? Link that may help: http://www.pcworld.com/howto/article...7,pg,16,00.asp

Thanks! Although I haven't been able to fix the problem, I was able to download an "Uninstall" program and remove programs from there. This also gives the ability to print out all programs and uninstall commands for each of them. Add/Remove Plus! is the program I downloaded. It can be found at:
