in the startup, PROMon.exe and mobsync.exe are loaded at startup and wonder what they are.........ideas??

promon.exe is the executable for the Intel Pro NIC Console, which allows for configuration and diagnostics of the network card. This program should not be terminated unless suspected to be causing problems.

mobsync.exe is a process associated with Internet Explorer and is used to synchronize the offline pages you have chosen to be stored locally with the matching online pages.

You can Google any file name to check others.
