Win 2000 USB Problem...Help!?!?!?!?

I can't get my USB ports to work. I have a Syntax K7SV266AD motherboard and the problem lies within the Standard Open HCD USB Host Controller. It keeps saying driver not found. So, I can't use my printer or cam and I need both at the moment. Anybody have any ideas? All help is greatly appreciated.

Have you downloaded SP4 from Microsoft? Many USB issues were fixed with SP4.

no I have not I haven't been sure of what to do at all really. I have the drivers on the install cd of my motherboard but none of them seem to work. I'll try the SP$ and see what it does. Hopefully it will work. Thanks!

After installing SP4, try:

Unplug ALL USB devices.
Open Device Manager.
View, Show Hidden Devices.
Uninstall all devices under USB Controllers.
If you have a yellow ? with unknown devices, uninstall all of the entries there as well.

When this is done, reboot TWICE.

Reconnect the USB devices and see if they're recognized properly.
