PC Keeps shutting off
I have a Compaq nc6000 which randomly shuts off. It can be turned on again but after a lenghthy boot up process, it continue to shut off. It doesn't do it daily but it will seem to do it 5 or 6 times a day when it does. After, it might be fine for a week or two.
Any chance it is just the fan not working well and overheating the system? |

to turn off the auto reboot
control panel /sysytem/advanced/startup and recovery settings then untick the auto reboot box post any bsod error messages the computer freezes on in full what are you running video card cpu m/board ram power supply brand wattage any error message check your tempretures and voltages in the bios and post them
