Mistake plz help Windows media player 9?

I uninstalled windows media player yesterday and then i installed it again but now i get this error message
"Stop:This driver might be at fault:Cdr4_2k.SYS"

Adress ED0802E0 base at ED0802E0,Date stamp 00000000 - Cdr4_2k.SYS"

is there any way i can download windows media player 9 without getting the error page?

Amazingly, someone has the same identical problem as you here!

All I can tell from a google search is cdr4_2k.sys has to do with Roxio EasyCD Creator. I know WMP installs some Roxio CD burning components (the other forum states this too), but I wouldn't know how to remove or uninstall them.

Perhaps ask jcgriff2. He's the crashdump analysis god around here.
