[SOLVED] faxsrv.exe error

almost every time I shut
down Windows, I get error messages that pop
up that say,

"faxsvc.exe initialization failed or

DLL Initialization failed"

Does anyone know how to stop this?

The faxsvc.exe process is the core faxing process in Windows. It will communicate with your internal fax-modem card and receive inbound faxes as they arrive.

I f you dont use the Fax Service from your computer you can disable the service and stop it from running at start up using the System Configuration Utility.

That was my guess as well but wanted an opinion to feel better about doing it. It worked out fine. Thanks.
