Could not find a place for a swap file
Hi
i have 2 partition in my hard drive both have windows2000 installed( C and D). in order to gain space in c and reinstalled win2k i have formated the deive c(NTFS format) from d hoping i can reinstall a fresh copy of win2k on C. i have tried to install win2k from cdrom but it couldn't. here is the error message i get "An internal setup error has occurred. could not find a place for a swap file. setup can not continue press enter to exit". i want to achieve the following. i have 20gb hard drive. i want to delete a partition and reformat the whole hard drive and re installed the win2k. i dont have floppy drive. is there any way that i can achieve the above with the help of win2k cd or any other programms. thank you |

Re: Could not find a place for a swap file
Boot from the CD and run the installation from there, indicating that you want to format C: and install there.
