Grin semi okay soultion

Well seems youre in a little delema, there are bootable disketts on the cd itself uner bootdisk folder assuming its F drive then its F:\bootdisk\makeboot.exe so just run that you'll need 4 blank formatted floppys... or you can go to www.bootdisk.com and from there they have a link just for windows 2k boot disk wich will just boot it up rather than run the install setup software for you. you should run scandisk see if it marks the sector as bad so it skips over it. if not worst comes to worst replace the drive burn all youre critical data and reinstall.

For all your booting needs: http://www.bootdisk.com

Favorite this site, it comes in VERY handy on occasion.

...and I'm going to guess you didn't worry about making a repair disk...
