Re: Drive visibility
I have a similar problem, where I cannot see my hard drive on a Win 2000 machine. I have a Barracuda Hard Drive and it is on a RAID configuration with three hard disks. I can see two hard drives, but I cannot see the third hard drive. The last time I could see data on the third drive, it had 100MB left and I was going to empty up some space, but I never did and now I cannot see any of the data on that hard drive. I have had this problem before and it was fixed by a technician who is no longer available. Hope you have some suggestions how I can see the data again, because I do not want to lose any of the data on this drive.
It is on Windows 2000 Pro machine. |

Re: Drive visibility
They have never required drivers. The Sansa normally shows up as a removable drive the same as a thumb drive.
Actually, we're talking about my cousins computer which has Win 2K Pro just like mine.I can see the same model Sansa on my computer (Win 2K) that he can't see on his. I'm trying to help him get his working by telephone. |

Re: Drive visibility
Have you tried pluggin it in into different usb ports? (assuming that's the way it connects) I have a wireless mouse that will only work in one USB port.
It would also be good to test it on another computer, so that you could know if it is the player or the computer.
