My computer reboots once in loads the windows 2000 splash screen and continues over and over. I have tried safe mode, booting to a command prompt, last good configuration and they all reboot once they get to the windows 2000 screen. I have also tried using the cd to repair but it still will not work. Does anyone have any idea of what i need to do?

Yeah since even the OS CD is not able to bring your system out of this loop I would suspect a hard ware issue. Does your Bios have a Temperature indicator? I would check and see if something is getting to hot and trying to force a shutdown.

I looked at the blue screen that comes up for a brief second and it says that there is a problem with a registry file and it is doing a memory dump. I do not think it is hardware related----but i may be wrong.
