Windows 2000 Pro, System Crashed I Had To Format Disc
Windows Now Does Not Recognise My Ntfs Large Caddy Drives, It Keeps On Recognising Them As G Drive, How Do I Disable This Auto Allocation Letter Function. If I Alter The Drive Letter And Details To The Original Drive Letter And Description In Device Manager It Does Not Recognise Them At All....can You Help |

Re: Auto Drive Allocation Letter
How many drives are in your system. It seems unusual that the first availble drive letter would be G by default. Typical systems would have a hard drive (C) and an optical drive (D). Do you have other drives/partitions that would be using E and F?
