Dell--running 2000 pro

I was given a Dell pc today running Windows 2000 pro. It has no back-up cds with it. When it is turned on and loads it's asking for an administrator password, which we have no clue what it is. We are unable to get any farther without the password. Is there a way to by pass the password so we can get windows to load?

Re: Dell--running 2000 pro

Geekgirl,
Not a problem---should have read the rules first. I certainly understand.
We have a couple different harddrives. We can just replace it.
Thanks for responding though.

Re: Dell--running 2000 pro

Geekgirl,
No need to apoligize, I said I understood. We will simply replace the harddrive. We just want the computer for a spare so it's no big deal, really.

Thanks again.
