AVG is not working

I've installed AVG free on my old windows 2000 computer, whitch is the only computer I use for the web, and I cant get the avg scanner to work, if I click scan computer in the computer scanner tab, or right click on a file and select scan with AVG, nothing happens, is it actually scanning without telling me anything or am I doing somthing wrong? Also the update manager is constantly disabled, no matter how many times I try to enable it, so what do I have to do?

Re: AVG is not working

Uninstall via Add/Remove Program and reinstall. Make sure you are using the latest version. Version 8.0 does support Windows 2000 but not NT Server 4.0, 2000 Server or 2003 Server. Read here http://free.grisoft.com/ww.download-...e-edition#tba3
