Stop error: 0x0000007B (SOLVED)

I'm getting a blue screen stop error: 0x0000007B (0x817A2790)
Inaccessible boot device

I have not added new hardware. I tried to boot using the last known good config., but it came back to the same screen. Research that I did said I should check the computer for viruses, but how can I when the machine will not boot. I tried to boot into safe mode but it will not boot that way either.
I'm running Win2K on a Dell Latitude C610.
Can anyone help????

Re: Stop error: 0x0000007B

I got the machine to boot by removing the floppy drive....Oh well, maybe it's bad or something. I have several computers with removable floppy/cd drives and this is the first one I have had any issues with.
I removed the drive and it booted.
