Dell Latitude LS Memory Installation
Computer illiterate thought I could easily add memory to my older dell laptop, but discovered it's not located at bottom of computer. Could someone please help me find where it's at and how to get to it?

Re: Dell Latitude LS Memory Installation
Welcome to TSF....
Laptops are really in a world of their own no two unless they are the same model coma appart the same way. The best suggestion I would have for you seeing that the RAM chips are extremely static sensitive would be to take the laptop to a qualified technician to have the RAM installed. If you watch when done you will say how easy it looks to be done but keeping the chips from going south is an art in itself. If you want to do this yourself then I would suggest going to Dells web site and going thru the support section and find the on line FAQ or instruction on how to add RAM and print it out and follow it closely.
