Connecting NT PC to a WinXP PC share
Ok I am tring to connect 2 NT 4 PCs to shares on a winxp PC.
The XP PC has 2 NICs one is on a corp domain. the other is on a private network along with 4 other XP pcs. Total of 6 PCs the 2 of which are in question. The 4 XP pcs connect to the shares correctly using a common user name and password. If I try to connect the 2 NT PCs to the same shares using the same user name and password it fails with an error of "access is denied." So I and tring to figure out what is causing NT to be unable to connect to a XP share when using the same credintials that allows another XP pc to connect. I have heard that kerberos might have something to do with it. I have heard to make the same user accounts on both PCs. not having much luck here Any help please. |
