Is the blue screen blank or is there an error message? Please post the error and Stop Code if possible.

Re: bsod

A problem as been detected & win as been shut down to prevent damage to pc.
check for viruses, remove any newly installed h/ds or controllers. check hd properly configured & terminated. run CHKDSK/F for hd corruption & then restart.

When you install Win2k and newer, the mobo information is registered. If you change mobo, you need to boot from CD and 'repair' your win2k install.

the 'fast repair' option should do the trick for you.
